FT position with the Nez Perce County Emergency Management Dept located in Lewiston, ID. Salary: $54,329 - $75,420, DOE/DOQ, plus an exceptional benefits package including PERSI retirement, excellent medical/dental/vision insurance, and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave. Position is responsible for establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive county-wide emergency management program providing services to the City of Lewiston, towns of Lapwai, Culdesac, Peck and County of Nez Perce. Position manages the mitigation of, preparedness for, response to, and recovery from disasters or major emergencies, which may occur within or affect the jurisdictions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public health administration, business administration, communications or related field and three years public safety work experience demonstrating the ability to manage and direct resources to accomplish the organization goals; OR at least six years work experience in a public safety managerial position with equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties of Emergency Management Director.
