Assistant/Associate/Full Professor
The Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State University in Pullman, WA invites applications for a permanent full-time tenure-track 12-month academic appointment position as Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of emerging infectious diseases of wildlife with emphasis on Elk Hoof Disease
Requirements:
- A PhD degree in biomedical science or related field is required.
- Evidence of an established, extramurally funded research program, a record of successful collaboration and proven track record of graduate education are preferred.
- A proven track record in wildlife disease research and ecosystems and experience in outreach communication to the general public is also preferred.
Duties:
The position is defined as approximately 75 percent research/graduate education and 25 percent outreach.
