PURPOSE OF CLASS:
At UConn Health, this class is responsible for supporting healthcare digital marketing efforts to include identification and development of campaigns, data gathering and analysis in determining measurable outcomes, and managing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the general supervision of an employee of higher grade.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Leads project team members as assigned.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Works collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to determine and support key initiatives for integrated marketing campaigns;
- Provides consultative assistance throughout project to assist stakeholders in understanding marketing tools and best practices; provides recommendations to accomplish desired end result;
- Collects, analyzes, translates and reports on data to form marketing strategies;
- Creates marketing campaigns for various service lines based on data and research;
- Develops digital assets for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and social media; such as banner/display ads, copy and imagery for ads, assessing keywords for search campaigns.
- Provides day to day system, administration and configuration support for the CRM;
- Analyzes data, reports and assists with optimization of both traditional and digital marketing communication efforts;
- Brainstorms new and creative ways of identifying specific target audiences; ensures marketing is fully integrated with advertising platforms to capitalize on audience targeting;
- Manages data collection and analyses for department specific reporting, including newsletters, websites, social media, call center, community education events and CRM campaigns;
- Reviews and quality checks custom data pulls for completeness, clarity and alignment with goals and objectives; refines marketing lists and maintains data for data integrity;
- Translates findings, identifies trends and provides recommendations for quality improvements to marketing campaigns;
- Reports on return of investment (ROI) of marketing efforts including procedure volumes, conversion rates, attribution and revenue;
- Troubleshoots and generates new approaches to marketing campaigns; Oversees vendor operations and accountability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of marketing concepts, terminology, and strategies;
- Proficiency working with marketing, communication and design tools;
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, processes and technology;
- Strong knowledge of and experience with online digital media platforms, such as Google SEM and paid Facebook Ads;
- Knowledge of data manipulation tools and online analytics;
- Strong quantitative and statistical analytical skills;
- Exceptional data management skills;
- Excellent business writing, proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to illustrate and present data insights and bring simplicity and clarity to design specifications;
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to work collaboratively with team members, outside agencies and internal departments;
- Ability to edit size and resize images for digital marketing efforts;
- Ability to review reports, interpret data and create actionable next steps based on results;
- Ability to express new ideas and seek innovative new approaches to challenges;
- Ability to understand overall corporate strategic imperatives and align projects accordingly;
- Ability to manage/lead multiple projects, priorities, and changing deadlines.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
General Experience:
Seven (7) years of experience in marketing with at least three (3) years of the total experience in digital marketing working with CRM systems in a healthcare environment.
Substitutions Allowed:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, data analytics or a closely related field may be substituted for four (4) years of the general experienc
Master’s degree in a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the general experience.

Full time 40 hours; Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
FULL TIME MINIMUM EQUIVALENT SALARY: $82,992
