Survey Technician or Land Survey
T-O Engineers is seeking a Survey Technician or Land Survey Intern to join our Coeur d'Alene Survey group. LSI is a plus but not mandatory. We will train the right person. Must have strong communication skills, be an excellent team player, and have the ability to physically perform the requirements of the position, as well as demonstrate willingness, enthusiasm and positive attitude. Conditions include working outdoors and in an office environment. Personal appearance must be professional. GPS/RTK and (Robotic) Total Station experience are a plus. Some AutoCAD/Civil3D skills also a plus but not mandatory. Experience performing Topographic/Existing Features Surveys, Construction Surveys, Boundary/Property/Right-of-Way Surveys, etc., also a plus. Qualifications:
- LSI Certificate a plus
- Strong knowledge of boundary, construction, and topographic surveying
- Have a good understanding of construction plans and subdivision plats
- Ability to draft Subdivision Plats, Records of Survey, ALTAs and boundary descriptions
- Strong skills using AutoCAD/Civil3D and Trimble Business Canter
- Experience with GPS receivers and controllers as well as Robotic total stations
- Ability to physically perform the requirements of the position (must be able to lift 50 pounds)
- Demonstrate willingness, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather as well as in a professional office environment
- Good communication skills and be a team player
- Personal appearance must be clean and professional
- Possess a current driver's license in good standing & ability to operate company-owned vehicles, including ATVs.
