- Recruit to and coach intercollegiate men's basketball team.
- Hire and supervise all assistant coaches in their sport related responsibilities.
- Oversee athletic, academic and social development of basketball athletes.
- Understand and comply with all NJCAA and ICCAC rules, regulations and bylaws.
- Manage operations, fundraising and scholarship budgets.
- Coordinate team travel.
- Monitor academic progress and eligibility status of all program players.
- Coordinate facility usage with other athletic programs including the Recreation Center.
- Maintain required program records.
- Attend local, state and college meetings that are necessary, or required in order to fulfill job expectations and requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate basketball camps.
- Participate in all Athletic Department meetings and fundraising events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Be able and willing to represent the College/department in the most positive manner with prospective, former and current students, clients, suppliers and the community we serve.
- Ability to recruit athletes to the College.
- Ability to read, understand and express oneself clearly and effectively in oral and written form.
- Possess strong human relations skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
- Be a creative, energetic, and self-motivated individual with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.

- Bachelor's Degree required/ Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years' experience in coaching applicable sport at the high school or college level.
- Must have flexible hours to meet practice, games, and travel.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
