Normal Hours of Work: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday- Friday
Rate of Pay: Pay Scale, Grade 23 $45,988.80 annually to $55,868.80 annually
Status: Classified; Non-Bargaining Unit; FLSA-Non-Exempt
Summary of Responsibilities: (Refer to position description for more detailed information)
Under general direction from the Workforce Innovation Manager, matches job seekers with employment opportunities; provides job retention and career development services after employment; maintains documentation of job seeker progress, job referrals and placements; identifies the needs of clients/customers through assessment tools; provides employment and training counseling that would enable the client/customer to become self-sufficient through employment; may provide basic assistance in the areas of research and analysis, program and policy development and advocacy related to workforce initiatives of the Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (any discipline/field), or in Economics, Workforce Client Services Planning & Development, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science or a related field, AND at least one (1) year of related work experience OR Associate's degree in any of the above fields AND two(2) years of related work experience; OR five (5) years of related work experience if no degree.
Must possess a valid driver's license with driving privileges in the State of Ohio, or have reliable means of transportation if accommodated under the ADA.
