This is your opportunity to shape the next chapter of our growing dealership. New Car Automotive Dealership about 50 miles from Boise, Idaho is seeking a new General Manager. The General Manager will lead and grow our team of employees, build new relationships with customers, and transition the store into its next chapter. We are seeking an exceptional leader to motivate and develop our dealership team as it continues to grow. Ideal candidate has past automotive General Manager experience, however willing to consider strong General Sales Managers that are ready for next step in managing both variable and fixed operations. We are currently building a new store with a high traffic location within the next year so this is an incredible opportunity for the right leader.

Responsibilities
- Coach and develop both sales and fixed operations teams
- Maintain profitability of the entire dealership
- Manage all showroom activities
- Ensure high CSI scores & monitor these metrics for making improvements
- Hire, motivate, and monitor the performance of entire dealership staff
- Conduct daily and weekly training meetings
- Ensure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a CRM system
- Establish delivery procedures
- Ensure delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointment
- All receivables and schedules are up to date
- Plan, budget and forecast goals and objectives for dealership & OEM sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis
Qualifications
- General Sales Manager experience is required
- Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Understanding of o Fixed Operations business is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of inventory control
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be willing to submit to background check & drug screen and GM approval
