Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to create and maintain the College’s favorable public image and protect its reputation, and provide support for the Executive Director of College Advancement. The position is responsible for all advertising through all mediums, maintains all College social media sites, monitors logo usage, oversees College publications and printed materials, assists with special events, manages the PR budget, represents the College at public relations/community events, takes minutes at applicable meetings.
Required Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of an associate’s degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Specialized training in journalism, public relations, or related field preferred; experience in journalism, public relations, or related field preferred.
Physical Demands
All individuals are required to be able to perform essential functions without significant risk of injury or to otherwise demonstrate or explain how they can perform the essentials listed above. Occasional light lifting may be required.
