Job Summary:
The Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University (CSU) is seeking applications for one full-time, non-tenure track, Visiting Assistant College Lecturer beginning August 18, 2025. This position may be renewed for up to an additional 2 academic years. CSU is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body in all of its dimensions. Duties: Teach four courses per semester (up to 24 credit hours per academic year) at the graduate and undergraduate levels at on-campus and off-campus locations and online. Courses are in the area of Statistics, Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. Participate in department, college, university, and professional service activities.

The department has seven full-time faculty members and offers coursework at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.

The Monte Ahuja College of Business has more than 70 full-time faculty members, with an enrollment of over 3,000 students. All programs are accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels by the AACSB.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management or a related discipline;
  • Experience in teaching statistics, operations management and/or supply chain management courses;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ABD or Doctoral degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field;
  • Documented excellence in teaching;
  • Ability to teach courses with a focus on business software applications;
  • Professional certification (e.g., APICS, ISM, or CSCMP);
  • Relevant industry experience.
