Administrative Specialist
Starting wage is $16.00 - $18.40 per hour, DOE.

- The Administrative Specialist processes and coordinates all aspects of Right-of-Way permitting, and provides assistance and information to contractors, ACHD Inspectors, and the general public. The Administrative Specialist coordinates inspection testing, maintains critical databases, and facilitates preconstruction conferences. The Administrative Specialist also performs a variety of receptionist, clerical and secretarial tasks and responds to incoming calls and visitors at the reception area.
Crew Chief – Grade Crew
Starting wage is $28.40 - $32.60 per hour, DOE.

- Under general supervision of the Superintendent, the primary duties consist of supervising the Maintenance Operations team members engaged in maintenance work and related projects, assuring compliance of all applicable safety standards, assisting in budget preparation, estimating cost of material, labor and equipment for maintenance activities, and training and instructing team members. Winter operations are an essential function of this position and may require working outside of normal work hours.
Mechanic

Starting wage is $23.50 - $27.00 per hour, DOE.

- The primary duties of this position are to perform journeyman level maintenance and repair of vehicle and construction equipment. During winter operations, the incumbent must be available respond to emergency call out, as required on a 24-hour basis. Mechanics receive a $1200 tool allowance each year.
Traffic Engineer/Assistant Traffic Engineer
Starting salary of $64,688 – $83,408 annually, DOQ.

- The Traffic Engineer is tasked with the coordination and review of traffic impact studies for new development. Review large and/or complicated development applications for compliance with ACHD’s policies and standards; including preparation of staff reports for the ACHD Board of Commissioners and may include technical presentations to the Commission. Provides technical guidance to the Development and Engineering communities, as well as ACHD staff. Other duties as assigned that benefit the department.
IT Cybersecurity Specialist
Starting wage range of $31.10 - $35.80 per hour, DOQ.

- The Cybersecurity Specialist will work seamlessly within a team of IT Team members to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of District IT systems. The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible to ensure the District’s network, computer hardware, and data are protected from security breaches and cyber threats. The Cybersecurity Specialist develops and maintains the District’s cybersecurity policies and procedures, including an incident response plan. Conducts research and evaluation of security enhancements and makes recommendations as required. Leads project teams comprised of other technical and non-technical staff members and provides technical consultation or in-house training on matters related to network design, equipment, security, implementation, and interconnections to other networked environments. This position may require some evening and/or weekend work.
