Human Resource Generalist
Starting wage of $58,739 -$70,470 per year, DOQ

 Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Human Resources, the HR Generalist is responsible for the
administration of various human resource programs for the District including recruitment, employee benefit
programs, classification and compensation system, HRIS programs, and policy development and
implementation. The HR Generalist will develop and monitor various tracking systems and reports to provide
a measurement of various human resource programs, assist in the handling of employee relations issues and
District-wide training efforts.

Project Inspector

Starting wage of $23.74 -$27.29 per hour, DOQ

 The Project Inspector is responsible for contract and project monitoring as well as inspection and evaluation of
construction projects being performed in the right-of-way to ensure work meets District standards, policies, and
specifications. The individual duties will include participating in pre-construction conferences on assigned
projects; inspecting steel and concrete structures; coordinating surveying and materials testing; preparing
technical data for contract changes, preparing monthly pay estimates, quantities, change orders, and overrun
justifications; coordinating resolution of engineering, construction, right-of-way, utility work, and safety
problems; conducting weekly inspection of storm water pollution prevention plans.

Locate Technician
Starting wage of $17.83 -$20.50 per hour, DOQ

 The Locate Technician will identify and mark underground stormwater infrastructure and/or highway District
utilities within the public right of way by referencing utility prints, existing records drawings, District software,
field investigations, and using specific locating equipment. Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative
working relationships with contractors, utility representatives, the general public, and other district employees.
The employee must have the ability to drive extensively, get in and out of a vehicle repeatedly, and walk several
miles a day. The employee must be able to update the District's electronic mapping of the storm drainage
infrastructure in GIS.

Mechanic
SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!
Starting wage of $19.62 - $22.55 per hour, DOQ

 The primary duties of this position are to perform journeyman level maintenance and repair of vehicle and
construction equipment. During winter operations, the incumbent must be available respond to emergency call
out, as required on a 24-hour basis. Mechanics receive a $1200 tool allowance each year.
General Equipment Operator – Broom Crew

 Primary duty of this position is to operate a street sweeper and 10-wheel dump truck. Responding to winter
weather conditions and other emergencies is an essential function of this position and may require working outside of normal work hours. Must have a current Idaho Class "A" CDL license. If license is from another state, must be able to obtain an Idaho CDL by start of employment. Must obtain a tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment. This position will work nights from 12:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday through Friday.
                                                       General Equipment Operator- Drainage Crew

 The primary duties include cleaning storm drain pipes, catch basins, grates, skimmers, irrigation pipes crossing
the Right-of-Way, and sediment tanks throughout Ada County. Performs skilled work and operates light- to
heavy-duty maintenance equipment and winter maintenance equipment for plowing, sanding, and deicing the
roads. Winter operations are an essential function of this position and may require working outside of normal
work hours.

General Equipment Operator- Utility Crew

 Performs skilled work, manual labor, and operate light- to heavy-duty maintenance equipment. The crew
performs a variety of work from cleaning ditches, fixing cave-ins, and laying pipe to installing concrete. All
Crews respond to winter weather conditions and other emergencies is an essential function of this position and
may require working outside of normal work hours.

Electronic Signal Technician

Starting wage of $23.74 -$27.29 per hour, DOQ

 The Electronic Signal Technician performs technical duties associated with the installation, maintenance, and
repair of complex electronics, electrical, and communication equipment. Will maintain, repair, and modify digital
and analog electrical systems, traffic controllers, detectors, amplifiers, multiplex communication equipment, and
electromechanical traffic control equipment in the shop and field using software systems, electronic testing
equipment, and digital meters. Locates and marks underground signal facilities for utilities and construction
projects. Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with utility representatives,
the general public, and other district employees. Able to assure completion of all documentation of daily
activities as required. Subject to 24-hour emergency on-call duty for a 7-day week on a rotating schedule.
