Legal Assistant

Starting wage of $19.62 - $22.55 per hour, DOQ

Application must be received by 4:30 pm, June 22, 2022.

  • The Legal Assistant performs a variety of administrative legal support, technical, accounting and statutory duties to assist with the administration of the District’s legal department. The successful candidate must have considerable experience using Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.  The successful candidate must have considerable knowledge of legal terminology, contractual and pleading legal documents, legal filing systems, contract management, record tracking and retention and report generation.  Contract management and Real Estate knowledge/background is desirable.

 

Mechanic

Starting wage of $19.62 - $22.55 per hour, DOQ

  • The primary duties of this position are to perform journeyman level maintenance and repair of vehicle and construction equipment. During winter operations, the incumbent must be available respond to emergency call out, as required on a 24-hour basis. Mechanics receive a $1200 tool allowance each year.

 

Employer Outreach Specialist – Commuteride

Starting wage of $17.83 - $20.50 per hour, DOQ

  • The Employer Outreach Specialist works independently to contact and build relationships with employers, agencies, and organizations to promote, design, coordinate, and monitor alternative transportation programs in support of Commuteride initiatives. This position focuses on encouraging businesses to develop and implement commute programs, including rideshare solutions, to reduce single-occupancy vehicle trips in the Treasure Valley. The position is part of the Commuteride Department, which manages a multicounty vanpool program along with employer and commuter outreach programs.

 

General Equipment Operator- Drainage Crew

Starting wage of $17.83 - $20.50 per hour, DOQ

  • The primary duties include cleaning storm drain pipes, catch basins, grates, skimmers, irrigation pipes crossing the Right-of-Way, and sediment tanks throughout Ada County.  Performs skilled work and operates light- to heavy-duty maintenance equipment and winter maintenance equipment for plowing, sanding, and deicing the roads.  Winter operations are an essential function of this position and may require working outside of normal work hours.

 

Environmental Engineer/ Assistant Environmental Engineer

Starting wage of $58,739 - $76,107 per year, DOQ

  • The Environmental Engineer performs professional engineering work in the environmental and civil engineering disciplines. The incumbent manages the water quality engineering program and serves as the stormwater quality representative on capital project teams. The Assistant Environmental Engineer applies the application of professional environmental and civil engineering knowledge and skills to engineering projects. The incumbent coordinates the water quality engineering program and serves as the stormwater quality representative on capital project teams.  Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with irrigation districts, contract engineers and designers, State and local boards and commissions, property owners, the public and other District employees.

 

General Equipment Operator – Grade Crew

Starting wage $17.83 - $20.50 per hour, DOQ

  • Preforms skilled work and operate light- to heavy-duty maintenance equipment which includes dump truck, water truck, roller, loader, jackhammer, as well as winter maintenance equipment for plowing, sanding, and deicing the roads. The Grade Crew performs will repair and replace asphalt on the roadways, including potholes, trench repairs, shoulder repairs, chip sealing, crack sealing, and other road maintenance. All Crews respond to winter weather conditions and other emergencies is an essential function of this position and may require working outside of normal work hours.
